History
In February 1987, former Langley employees and the Office of External Affairs (Gary Price) established a Langley Research Center Alumni Association (LAA). Acting Chair of the Board of Directors was William J. Boyer and Betty Joyner was acting Secretary/Treasurer. Committees & Chairs were:
- Finance – Edmund A. Brummer
- Membership – Domenic J. Maglieri
- Nominating – Charles B. King
- Program – Donald H. Ward
- Social – Abraham Leiss
These officers served until January 1988 when a new Board was elected at the Annual members meeting.
