LAA Membership and Board Meetings

September topics will be Scientifically Calibrated In-flight Imagery (SCIFLI) and Emeritus Langley Association (ELA) Program.

• Jennifer Inman of Langley’s Aerothermodynamics Branch will speak on SCIFLI’s use of telescopes, both ground and flight based, to obtain engineering quality data on spacecraft during launch and reentry.
• Neyda Abreu will give a presentation on the new Emeritus Langley Associate (ELA) Program (formerly the Distinguished Research Associate Program).
