Abstract
Yoga’s evolved as one of the most reliable, authentic & efficient health care systems available today. Most believe daily yoga practice & maintenance of a yogic lifestyle produces better health benefits than regular exercise. These yogic health benefits are useful as therapy for chronic lifestyle-related diseases like diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, arthritis, chronic lower back pain, asthma, depression & stress. In this session Dilip Sarkar, MD, FACS, D.Litt(yoga) will guide you through a gentle practice of Yoga Therapy for Health & Healing sitting on a chair or yoga mat.
